API Use Policy

1. Access

API access is included on the Full Flock and Enterprise plans. API keys are confidential; do not share or embed them in public code. You are responsible for all activity under your keys.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the API only to integrate with your own MailToucan account and data.
• Respect rate limits and do not try to evade them.
• Do not use the API to build a competing service, scrape data or bypass plan limits.
• Follow the Acceptable Use Policy and Anti-Spam Policy for everything you send.

3. Data handling

You must protect personal data you retrieve through the API, only use it as permitted by law and your own privacy notices, and delete it when no longer needed.

4. Changes and availability

We may change, version or retire API features with reasonable notice and may suspend keys that cause abuse or risk.
